Finland is a country of over 180 000 lakes and almost 180 000 islands. Over two-thirds of its area is covered with forests, and they call forests Finland's green gold. Summer cottages are most liked and popular place to spend free time in Finland. Finns own over half a million of summer cottages. There are also many cottages for rent.
Weekends and summers are perfect if they are spent in the summer cottages, possibly close to the forest and some lake or other water, and possibly far away from the other cottages:-)
They go fishing, swimming, boating, rowing, picking mushrooms or berries, grilling, or just relaxing in a silence ... and they all go to sauna of course. Here are some pics of the Finnish nature.
Arvostan suomalaisten kiintymystä luontoon. He haluavat olla lähellä luontoa, niin paljon kuin mahdollista. Suomessä on yli 180 000 järveä ja lähes 180 000 saarta. Yli kaksi kolmasosaa Suomen pinta-alasta on metsää. On sanonta, että metsät ovat Suomen vihreä kulta. Kesämokit ovat suosittuja lomapaikkoja, ja suosituimpia kesämökkien paikkoja ovat metsät, vesistöjen rannoilla. Hyvä, kun mökki on mahdollisesti kaukana muista mökeistä. Suomalaiset omistavat melkein puoli miljoonaa kesämökkiä. Mökkejä voi myös vuokrata. Siellä voi liikkua luonnossa, kalastaa, uida, soutaa, veneillä, poimia marjoja ja sieniä, grillata, tai vain rauhassa rentoutua ... ja tietysti käydä saunassa. Tässä pari Suomen luontokuvaa.
